• Payment handling for direct bookings via Sun & Sea Holidays

The monthly fee exclusively covers advertising, presentation and technical support.
Commissions apply only to bookings and are explained separately below.

How does the commission model work?

1. Direct bookings via the Sun & Sea Holidays website

• The guest pays the base rental price + a 10% surcharge
• This 10% surcharge is paid exclusively by the guest
• You receive 100% of the agreed base rental price for direct bookings
• No commission is deducted from your payout
• Payment and administrative handling are managed by Sun & Sea Holidays

Advantage:
Direct bookings usually generate the highest net return for you as the owner.

2. Your personal promotional link – 0% commission

You will receive a personal promotional link that allows you to share your accommodation yourself, for example via:

• your own website
• social media
• newsletter or returning guests

For bookings made via this promotional link:

• the guest pays no additional commission
• you receive the full base rental price
• the commission is 0%

3. Bookings via external rental platforms (OTAs)

For example: Booking.com, Airbnb, Interhome, HomeToGo, etc.

• Rental platforms apply their own commissions and service fees
• These costs are included by the platform in the sales price charged to the guest
• Many platforms use dynamic pricing
  (price adjustments based on demand, supply, occupancy and market comparison)
• As a result, the guest price may vary per platform and per moment
• The final sales price may be lower than the agreed base rental price. Sun & Sea Holidays has no influence on this
• Owners do not pay these platform costs
• The net return for the owner may differ from direct bookings

In return, these platforms provide additional reach and visibility through international rental platforms.

For some rental platforms, Sun & Sea Holidays applies a lower commission for the owner, as the platform is primarily used for visibility and reach, and the operational handling is carried out by the platform itself.
