Beautiful church with a rich history
On the gold leaf decorated wooden organ case, called the Müller organ, many famous people have played on it, including Mendelssohn, Händel and the ten-year-old Mozart in 1766.
Feast your eyes on this most Protestant church, built around 1400 in the center of Haarlem. The beautifully decorated church has a lot of pomp and is built in Gothic style with beautiful window paintings and a beautiful wooden ceiling.
Besides the colossal organ, the floor is also an attraction and has about 1,500 capstones of tombs.
The church has a rich history, every Saturday at 14:00 they give a guided tour and you can also climb the high tower.
